DRESS CODE

For Pre-Prep and Prep Classes

Boys:  Blue Shorts and Blue Shirts 

Girls:  

Rain footwear is permitted only during monsoon.

For Classes I to VIII

Boys: White shirt (half sleeved) tucked in grey shorts, tie and navy blue with light blue striped belt.

Footwear: Black leather shoes with navy blue socks.

Wednesday & Saturday : White short (Half sleeved) tucked in white shorts, navy blue with light blue slating striped tie, navy blue with light blue striped belt.

Footwear: White canvas shoes with white socks.

Rainwear: Permitted only during monsoon.

Girls:   White shirt ,  grey tunic, navy  blue with light blue slanting striped tie, navy blue with light blue belt.

Footwear: Black leather shoes with navy blue socks.

Wednesday & Saturday: White blouse, White tunsc1lantinh , navy blue with light blue slanting striped tie, navy blue with light blue belt.

Footwear: White canvas shoes with white socks.

For Classes IX and X

Boys:  White shirt (half- sleeved), tucked in grey trousers, navy blue with light blue slanting stripes tie, Navy blue with light blue striped belt.

Footwear : Black leather shoes with navy blue socks.

Monday and Thursday: White shirt (half- sleeved), tucked in white trousers, navy blue with light blue slanting stripes tie, Navy blue with light blue striped belt.

Footwear: White canvas shoes with white socks.

Rainwear: Permitted only during monsoon.

Girls:  Grey kurta with white salwar and white chunni (Dupatta) without shoulder flap.

Footwear: Black leather shoes with navy blue socks.

Wednesday and  Saturday White kurta with white salwar and white chunni (Dupatta) without shoulder flap.

Footwear: White canvas shoes with white socks.

Rainwear: Permitted only during monsoon.

 

Sports Uniform

Students are expected to wear sports uniform whenever they come to attend sports activities/periods outside school hours. The details of sports uniform are given below:

Boys:1) White T-Shirts (with collar)

          2) Grey Shorts

Girls: 1) ) White T-Shirts (with collar)

          2) Grey Skirts (Divided)

 

Library

Pupils of classes VI to X will have access to books, periodicals, magazines and news papers in the library. Pupils of classes I to V will follow the class library system and the books will be issued to them by the teachers. Pupils are permitted to make use of the library during the long recess & after school hours. Students are expected to take good care of library books. It is strictly forbidden to write any remarks in the books or underline the words. If there are already such remarks in the books, they should be shown to the librarian on receipt of the books. In case the book is lost or damaged, the cost will be recovered from the concerned pupil. 

Laboratory

The school provides well-equipped science laboratories where pupils of classes IX and X are required to perform experiments. In these laboratories, pupils of the classes are permitted to do experiments only under the guidance of the teachers. Pupils are to handle scientific apparatus and chemicals with extreme care and should strictly follow the instructions given to them by the teachers.

Any damage to the apparatus; other laboratory appliances or furniture will have to be made good in full by the pupil or pupils, who are responsible for the damage as decided by the Head of the School.

 Games and Sports

All the Pupils have to take active part in physical education, games and sports arranged in school. Competitions in games and Sports will be held on the basis of house system. Prefects and Monitors will be selected from among the outstanding pupils and sportsmen. They will assist the P.E.Ts. and Class Teachers in organizing games and sports in the school.

 

Co-curricular activities

Co-curricular activities form an integral part of the student’s life. Competitions in games, sports, art, science, educational visits etc., are some of the co-curricular activities in the school provides for. These activities are held on the basis of House System.

 

Suggestions to parents:

 

1. Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities by ensuring regularity, punctuality and discipline in the children. They must ensure that the children prepare their lessons and take an active and useful interest in school activities.

2. Parents are expected to sign messages, progress report, or any other similar document, when so requested. Failure  to do this, may put their children to great inconvenience. They should also keep a watch on the reports in the calendar. Explanation for absence should be written in the school calendar.

3. Parents and Guardians are  suggested to inform the school authorities , if any change in their address or telephone number.

4. While communicating with the Head if the School, parents are requested to mention in the letter, the class and section of their children.

5.  a). Parents, Guardians or other persons are not allowed to see the pupils or seek interview with the teachers during school hours. They should meet HM/VP .

       b) Breakfast should be sent with the student in the morning. Parents will not be permitted to give the breakfast during the break.

6. Parents should not send their children to the school, if they are suffering from any contagious or infectious diseases.

7. Parents are particularly urged to see that their children come to school dressed neatly and in full school uniform. Parents shall provide them with necessary reading books, exercise books, pencils, erasers etc.

8. Girl students are not allowed to wear any gold ornaments to school.

9. Any students can not absent more than one day without leave letter. I f leave is required for more than three days, appropriate reason is to be mentioned din the leave application. Absenting 5 or more days without leave application leads to strike of the name from the rolls. Such students have to take readmission with payment of admission fees..

10. Parents / Visitors are not allowed to enter the classrooms.

11. Parents are expected to be decently dressed on their visit to school.
